One have to recognise that since the 90s, and before Europe caught up in the craft beer frenziness, USA is probably the richest place when it comes to enjoy a pint (or whatever quantity you deem reasonable) of ale. I wasn’t too sure if Texas and specifically Dallas area would give us our penny worth of beverages but I got reassured as soon as I stepped in a Walmart supermarket. Half an aisle was dedicated to local, regional and nationwide known breweries products. Two weeks would probably be too short to try it all! Few internet searches later we were en route for TUPPS brewery in McKinney

Small brewery with a nice vibe were we enjoyed few samples of their production.

Amongst patrons on that day, was a bunch of bikers, cliché image of the USA. I, of course, took my own cliché image and post it here along their two wheeled vehicles and others that were worth the memory!

Small update in 2025 as I restore my whole blog, TUPPS has grown big and moved on a much bigger site… one small incentive for a second voyage to the Lone Star State.

Let’s add before publishing that latter during our stay we drove up to the Oklahoma border to visit Krootz Brewing Co in Gainesville TX. While less graphical and smaller, the site was home of very good beverages…
